South Loop Montessori School Programs

At South Loop Montessori School, we provide a foundation for academic and personal excellence and encourage the love of learning inherent in every child through participation and engagement.

We offer year-round programs, with flexible scheduling options (All Day (7:30am—6:30pm), School Day (8am—3:30pm) and Half Day (8am—12:30pm) for children 8 weeks through 9 years of age:

The heart of learning at South Loop Montessori School thrives in orderly and beautiful environments in which our AMS / AMI Montessori Certified educators promote the development of each child’s true potential and ensure success for life-long learning.

We enjoy an excellent student to teacher ratio across all programs, in which skills of independence, self-discipline, problem-solving and a secure foundation of early academic knowledge develop spontaneously within our unique learning environment. Our large, renovated space within the historic building provides new architecture and state-of-the-art classrooms, an expansive indoor large motor room, and a beautiful mezzanine where parents and staff can connect. Brimming windows allow for natural light within classrooms that are fully equipped with child-sized counters, ADA-compliant bathrooms, sinks and fixtures.

South Loop Montessori School is a Full Member School of the American Montessori Society (AMS), is a member of the Association of Illinois Montessori Schools and is registered with the Illinois State Board of Education.
